This paper introduces the organization and implementation process of the finals of the first national college chemical engineering experiment competition, and focuses on the measures taken to ensure the fairness and justice of the finals. The statistics of the participants of the unit operation theory and unit operation experiment have been recorded. Based on the distribution of scores, the possible problems in theoretical and experimental teaching are analyzed, and the areas that need to be improved in theoretical teaching and experimental teaching are summarized. The promotion effect of chemical engineering experiment competition on cultivating students' practical ability and innovative ability is also discussed.
